The Royal Women’s Hospital Foundation raises funds to support the vital work of the Women’s, Australia’s first and largest specialist hospital for women and newborns.
The Women's is passionately committed to progress and innovation in women’s health and has been so for nearly 160 years.
Each year the Women’s treats more than 200,000 women, provides more than 11,000 cancer treatments, manages more than 7,000 births and provides critical care for 1,500 premature and very sick babies.
As a public hospital conducting world-class research and innovation, every donation counts. Donations enable us to drive new initiatives that will make a big difference to women and babies of this generation and the next.
The Foundation draws upon the wonderful support of community supporters, donors, charitable trusts and patients present and past, who understand the true value of this unique hospital.
The Royal Women’s Hospital Foundation Limited is a tax concession charity endorsed as a DGR 2 status public ancillary fund. It is an Australian company which is governed by a Board of Directors. The Foundation has as its purpose the raising of funds for the benefit of the Royal Women’s Hospital.
We have a small team lead by the Foundation’s General Manager, Lisa Trainor. We are greatly supported by the Royal Women’s Foundation Board and a wonderful group of dedicated volunteers.
We are based at 55 Flemington Road, across the road from the hospital.
