Clinical inclusion
- Women who took DES
- Women whose mothers took DES during their pregnancy
Clinical exclusion
- Women whose mothers did not take DES during their pregnancy
Frequency
The women will attend an annual follow up unless an abnormality is found on a cervical smear and then followed up more frequently.
Triage
Triage staff may assign your referral to a clinic with a shorter waiting time and most appropriate speciality focus. More comprehensive referrals are usually seen more quickly.
Please include "History of DES exposure in utero" in your referral*
* often history is uncertain and patients want clarification as to whether they are likely to be exposed or not.
