Moyna Fox Fertility Research Centre

The Centre is led by Associate Professor Wan Tinn Teh (Director) and co-Deputy Directors; Associate Professor Kate Stern and Dr Genia Rozen.

We explore why some people struggle to become parents, and undertake research into possible treatments and interventions.

Infertility is a deeply personal and often painful experience affecting one in six people.

Current diagnostic options remain inadequate, and treatments are limited, leaving countless unexplored opportunities to help people conceive and carry a child to term.

In Victoria, the Women’s is the lead provider of public fertility and reproductive services, including the state-wide service, Public Fertility Care

The Moyna Fox Fertility Research Centre at the Women's focuses on four key areas:

  1. Advancing fertility preservation methods and services in adults and children
  2. Enhancing the safety and success of fertility treatments
  3. Investigating the role of the endometrium in reproductive failures
  4. Optimising the health of offspring conceived through fertility treatments
