The Koori Maternity Service Education Program (KMS) has been developed in partnership with VACCHO and the KMS Aboriginal Health Workers and Midwives, providing current, evidence-based education.
The Gathering program has been designed to support the KMS workforce, to improve the health of Aboriginal mothers and babies through sharing and learning. Allowing members to connect from across the state, sessions are delivered in an interactive forum by MSEP educators and expert guest speakers.
Gatherings are facilitated in metro and regional locations, and include clinical simulations and skills stations, yarning sessions, cultural activities, and team networking.
