The Medicines Information Service (MIS) is a pharmacist-led service to assist patients and healthcare professionals use medicines safely and effectively.
The MIS provides current, evidence-based and practical medicines information to healthcare professionals and the general public by phone and email.
Specialities
Provision of verbal and written information about:
- the safety of prescription and over-the-counter medicines (including complementary and alternative medicines), diagnostic agents and everyday exposures during pregnancy and while breastfeeding
- medicines use in women’s health and neonates
Clinical inclusion
Our service provides medicines related information to the public and healthcare professionals.
Clinical exclusion
Non-medicines related enquiries.

Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm (except public holidays)
